JESUS CAMP BEGINNINGS: Jesus Camp was started in 2000, to minister to children who otherwise would not have the opportunity to attend a Christian Camp. Although, we have operated under different names and have been supported by various churches and organizations, the heart of camp has been the same.
SAFETY AND HEALTH: Great effort is made to protect camper’s health and safety through the training of staff and supervision of campers. Furthermore, all campers will be assigned a cabin and two counselors. Jesus Camp assumes no responsibility for accidents or illness, or loss of personal equipment by fire, theft, or a camper's carelessness (see release statement on application). In the 15 years of being involved with youth camps, Jesus Camp has not experienced any major injuries or illness. The Camp is committed to safety.
CAMP DONATIONS: Jesus Camp is FREE to each camper accepted. Many week-long camps charge in excess of $100 dollar registration fee but not Jesus Camp. Community and friends of the camp raise funds and donate to make this Camp happen. You too, may donate to Jesus Camp.
