I don’t know if I can say enough to let you know what
being a part of this camp has meant to me. God has
brought me through so many things over the years,
training me to for what He has to come. He is trying
to teach me patience, sacrifice, and faithfulness
every day. He has blessed me with wonderful
teacher/friends all around me. Jesus Camp has been the
most powerful working of God in my life and I am blown
away at the way He never gives up on me. Somehow He
finds some way to use me in His camp to touch kids
with his beautiful merciful, healing, life-giving,
hope-building hand. He is redeeming precious lives
that want a relationship with him desperately and
don’t even know it (that’s all of our story, by the
way). As I see His hand over the camp and the
extensions of it, I am coming to expect that He has
plans for our kids far greater than I can imagine. And
that’s the way I want it.
I have accepted my role as seed-planter here. And it
is so cool watching little sprouts coming up now. And
I long to see what He’s going to do when they are
mature, strong, fruitful, life-giving, believers that
He takes down strongholds with and builds KINGDOM!
I can’t believe He chose me to be a part of this. It
only shows His power. I can’t wait to see what He’s
going to do next.
